Industrial Hygiene Specialist - Jakarta
Basic Purpose
- Facilitate in conducting the IH matter risk assessment at all site station.
- Socialize HSE standards regarding IH scope to line management (supervisory safety meeting), to employee and contractor (deliver training)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Convey and promote IH program to employee and management field regarding new paradigm HSE from health side
- Make sure all IH aspect parameter (Chemical, Physic, Biologic, Ergonomic, etc) that its has exposed to employee have been monitor and comply with government regulation.
- Conducted meeting and develop RACI with other department regarding IH issue finding in the some HSE audit performed.
- Giving advice and recommendation due to raise any issue regarding IH matter on fields.
- Facilitates in conducting IH matter risk assessment at all site stations followed by socializing and construct advice or recommendations for further follow up.
- Socialize HSE standard regarding IH scope to line management, to employee and contractor
- Deliver IH aspect training to employee and contractor.
- As auditor member team especially IH scope
- Performing monitoring and measurement regarding IH aspect than compared with standard and giving advise recommendation if the hazards higher than standard.
- Monitor to ensuring the positive progress implementation IH program at site.
- Facilitate to development of IH related SSP (asbestos, hygiene and sanitation, EAP, Hg control program, etc)
- Involve in review of IH equipment need at COPI facilities
- Facilitate accident investigation regarding IH issue (poisoning by toxic gas, food break, etc)
- Monitoring the implementation closed out audit finding (SSA, BU-2 and Tier-3) regarding with IH aspect finding
- Provide and share information regarding IH matter case to employee as lesson learns.
- Advice to line management regarding IH standard when performing major maintenance at each site
- Keep and ensure all IH site equipment available to use
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Chemical, Medical or Hygiene field, preferable OHS (Occupational Health and Safety).
- Experience minimum 3 year in related field will be an advantage
- Technical Competencies: Comprehensive HSE knowledge, understanding of COPI operations and Business Units
- Other characters and skills: Communication skill and presentation skill
