            • Usia minimal 18 tahun pada tanggal 1 Nopember 2013 maksimal 35 tahun pada tanggal 1 Desember 2013;
            • Tidak pernah dihukum penjara berdasarkan putusan Pengadilan Negeri yang mempunyai kekuatan hukum tetap, dibuktikan dengan Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian;
            • Memiliki kartu pencari kerja (Kartu Kuning) yang dikeluarkan oleh Instansi yang bertanggung jawab di bidang ketenagakerjaan;
            • Berbadan sehat, dibuktikan dengan Surat Keterangan Sehat Jasmani dan Rohani yang dikeluarkan oleh Dokter Pemerintah;
            • Tidak berkedudukan sebagai CPNS/PNS/Calon anggota TNI/POLRI serta anggota TNI/POLRI atau diberhentikan dengan hormat tidak atas permintaan sendiri atau tidak dengan hormat dari CPNS/PNS/Pegawai Swasta;
            • Berijazah S2 sesuai dengan kualifikasi pendidikan di atas dengan ketentuan:
              • Memiliki sertifikat TOEFL dengan nilai sekurang-kurangnya 500 yang dikeluarkan oleh lembaga resmi yang berbadan hukum;
              • Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) dalam skala 4, minimal 3,25
              • Dalam negeri Ijazah terakreditasi A dan B pad a Badan Akreditasi Nasional - Perguruan Tinggi, bagi lulusan luar negeri harus mendapat pengesahan dari Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi disertai dengan Konversi IPK ke dalam skala 4.
            • Bersedia ditempatkan di UPT BMKG seluruh wilayah NKRI sesuai formasi yang ada dengan menandatangani Surat Pernyataan.
            • Melampirkan Surat Keterangan Bebas Narkoba dari Rumah Sakit Pemerintah.
