        Company Overview


        PT Sinar Mas Multifinance (Simas Finance) adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam jasa usaha pembiayaan sewa guna usaha, anjak piutang dan pembiayaan konsumen. Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 1985 dengan nama PT Sinar Supra Leasing Company, lalu berganti nama menjadi PT Sinar Supra Finance Co., dan akhirnya memilih nama baru yang digunakan sampai sekarang. Pada tahun 1995 seluruh saham perusahaan dibeli oleh PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk, sebuah perusahaan investasi dibawah kelompok usaha Sinar Mas. Pada Februari 1995, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk membeli seluruh saham PT Sinar Supra Finance dan mengganti nama perusahaan yang dibelinya menjadi PT Sinar Mas Multifinance pada awal 1996. Pada Juni 1996, sesuai pedoman Departemen Keuangan Republik Indonesia, dipindahkan seluruh aktiva pembiayaan dari PT Sinar Mas Multiartha TBK kepada Simas Finance. Sesuai dengan laporan keuangan Akuntan Publik Hanadi Sujendro, pemindahan ini meliputi nilai aktiva sebesar Rp.521 milyar.
        Di tahun 2010, Perusahaan telah berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan pembiayaan konsumen yaitu semula sebesar Rp 120 milyar ditahun 2009 meningkat menjadi sebesar Rp 170 milyar di tahun 2010. Dengan total aktiva sebesar Rp 905 milyar.
        Berkembangnya dalam pembiayaan konsumen khususnya dalam pembiayaan kredit kendaraan bermotor, PT Sinar Mas Multifinance sampai dengan tanggal 31 Desember 2012 telah memiliki 80 cabang yang tersebar diseluruh Indonesia.
        Selain membuka cabang baru untuk pembiayaan mobil,  PT Sinar Mas Multifinance juga memiliki outlet untuk pembiayaan motor yang ditargetkan pada akhir tahun 2012 akan menjadi 388 outlet yang melengkapi seluruh jaringan usaha PT Sinar Mas Multifinance dengan didukung oleh 7175 karyawan.
